The month of October offers a lot more than beautifully changing leaves and saying goodbye to summer. UW-W Dining Services will be cookin' up specials from Latin America, Australia and China this month.

Here's what's cookin' in the month of October:

Chinese Cuisnine in whole+sum [Drumlin Dining Hall]
  • Chinese Pork Dumplings, Broccoli Tofu Stir Fry, Jasmine Rice, Lo Mein Noodles, Blanced Cabbage & Scallions, and Gingered Snap Peas with Mushrooms.
  • Served on Wednesday, Oct. 12 in whole+sum at Drumlin Dining Hall
Cemita Sandwich
  • Served at Esker Dining Hall on Oct. 5 for dinner & on Oct. 6 for lunch
Costa Rican-inspired Chifrijo
  • Served at Esker Dining Hall on Oct. 12 for dinner & on Oct. 13 for lunch
Australian Cuisine in whole+sum [Drumlin Dining Hall]
  • Citrus Chicken Skewers, Vegetable Shepherds Pie, Mashed/Sweet Potatoes, Strawberry Spinach Salad, and Tossed Salad w/ Mandarin Oranges.
  • Served on Wednesday, Oct. 19 in whole+sum in Drumlin Dining Hall
