UW-W Dining Services will be hosting a Gingerbread House Competition! With the holidays right around the corner, this is the perfect opportunity to get your spirit on!
Here are the 'official' 2011 Gingerbread House Contest Rules:
- Kits can be picked up on Monday, Nov. 28 & Tuesday, Nov. 29 in:
- Esker, room 124 from Jon Gordon [8a to 7:30p]
- UC, Willie's 360 from Stephanie Mankowski [8a to 5p]
- Contest is open to all Residence Life Complexes, Residence Life Floors and Campus Student Organizations!
- A theme must be chosen for your Gingerbread House, and all materials must be used in the kit.
- Participants are allowed to use other materials, tools and equipment too!
- Houses must meet University Indoor Safety Standards [the same set forth by Residence Life]
- Gingerbread houses must be returned to Esker by Monday, Dec. 5. They will be displayed in Esker!
- Judging will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 8
- Criteria is based upon the following criteria: use of all parts, demonstration of chosen theme, creativity and difficulty.
- Total of 40 possible points
- Prize will be a $250 credit for catering for the winner!
